Job Fair Spam
I recently went to a dice.com job fair in Los Angeles, and handed out my resume, with a business card. Dumb mistake, I didn’t get any job offers, but I did manage to get on about two to three hundred mailing lists and now even if I did get any legitimate response from a potential employer I won’t know because of all the spam that I am having to sift through.
UGH!!! I sure wish I hadn’t given out my email address.
Note to self, do not place business card in bowls for drawings or sweepstakes in the future unless I want to be spammed.
